Re: [Skunkworks] https://forodha.kra.go.ke/ on samsung

Probably works on IE5 - IE6 only. Doesn't seem to open on 7 - 9
Gosh, thats painful then. Considering that very few people are using IE5 and IE6 at this time, its likely correct to say no one use it. Wonder even if they patch it? Seem unmaintained given the information we learned from this thread I think it they would be open to changing it considering none of the current browsers can use their site. What are they going to say downgrade to IE5 ? I seriously don't think there is anybody who can say that today unless they have been in a cave the last 5 years Muriithi

KRA are the right ones to correct this, but does KRA ever listen to such input? I suppose they have never heard of a Samsung tablet. What sickness is that tablet prescribed for?:-)

It works for all versions of IE > v5.x. But take into account that East Africa's favourite browser is FireFox > v3.5 and chrome steadily on the rise, you will realize users of that web app have a big problem. Ladies and Gents, this is what you get when you fail to factor in adaptive maintenance into your transition phase, especially when you forget about environmental changes. nuf sed! _______________________________________________ *In programming, as in everything else, to be in error is to be reborn.** * _______________________________________________ * * 2012/9/24 William Muriithi <william.muriithi@gmail.com>

I'm surprised most of us here on skunkworks fell from mars and discovered this. Ave always known this and there are several workarounds as someone said. Internet Explorer 7 to 9 behave differently from the other explorers, closer to the newer open source brothers and sisters, so those KRA sites don't work there. PIN requisition works on all the sites, though, if im not wrong. Peter On Mon, Sep 24, 2012 at 3:17 PM, James Nzomo <kazikubwa@gmail.com> wrote:
