The title sounds like - a bunch of guys, seated beside the murky waters of Nairobi River, with their laptops out, doing a series of hacks based on a competition from some announcer with a microphone shouting things like: "Hack into the Nairobi City Council Website and get me the phone numbers of all landrover tow trucks - Go !!!! " === Is this what will happen at the Hackathon or is my imagination running way ahead ... ???

I thought they would hack in and erase all the bills of people in arrears so that they can have a fresh start On Tue, Sep 20, 2011 at 1:43 PM, ndungu stephen <ndungustephen@gmail.com>wrote:

I think they should hack into the water companies systems and do some dope optimizations. Thanks and regards, Ian On 20 September 2011 14:11, Joram Mwinamo <joram.mwinamo@gmail.com> wrote:

There will be a predefined problem set. I will be sharing what exactly will be developed on that day, but to give you an idea of what may be developed are mashups of water access across Nairobi, so that the NWSC can have data on problem points in the city etc -- With Regards, Phares Kariuki | T: +254 720 406 093 | E: pkariuki@gmail.com | Twitter: kaboro | Skype: kariukiphares | B: http://www.kaboro.com/ |
