Lack of safe water and adequate sanitation is the world’s single
largest cause of illness, responsible for over two million deaths
every year. In Kenya specifically, economic development is spurring
demand for more and better food and climate change increases the
frequency of floods and droughts, the sustainable management of water
is acquiring new urgency. The problems are being collected. Be part of

Nairobi WaterHackathon will take place simultaneously with other
global cites from Cairo to Kampala to Washington D.C. Technologists
are invited to work hand in hand with water experts in their countries
in an intensive weekend of hacking together technical solutions that
can help global communities address their water problems
