They were never a Micro-finance, yes, but the y duped the public into believing that they were an IC T company but in real sense, these guys were a kind of a micro-finance organization. The Mafia in Italy contribute taxes, build schools, but they remain drug cartels and barons!

I remember some time back just when the mobile phone craze was hitting home and sms's used to cost a fortune to send (especially for young guys when the cheapest card was like 100/-), There were several sites that let you send sms's to any Kenyan no. and they were very popular in cyber café's . the most popular was sasanet.co.ke which I now understand to be defunct. . . anyway they all shutdown at the same time just when they were really getting a strong following and i thot their business case was good because of the advert bit at the end. . . . .my thots are that there was a change in regulations that simply put them out of business. . or does anyone know what happened? -- Regards,

i did vist sasanet a while back and they had it going fantastic logo,hot front office chicks(a sure sign of success in kenya sic!) and what i liked about them is that they got even the least internet savvy of us online and must have had the highest regular vists at that time and me think safcom or wareva should tweek this model . Finaly the guy of sasanet actualy did lose coz imagine how much he would have made if he had remained legit and the respect that is worth more than $$ he would be up there with the likes of mj and dr kamau of equity saa hii ni kujificha ficha na kustuka stuka tho!
