Is back now. I wonder, when employees are not happy, they strike. When the International Community's not happy with you, they impose economic sanctions. How is it then than the consumer takes so much crap and accepts pathetic service? I advocate 4 a full day boycott on safaricom, all service offered, then we'll see, they'll wake up & like banks are trying so hard to achieve, they'll make sure they give us value for our money. Just a thought On 12/11/09, kennedy kariuki <kkairu@gmail.com> wrote:

And yet there are companies that rely wholly on their Internet. Companies that can't afford to be offline even for a minute. Putting all their eggs on the Safaricon basket. **wincing** just from imagining what that means On Fri, Dec 11, 2009 at 2:18 PM, saich <saiched@gmail.com> wrote:

I think Fridays are my best days in Skunkworks, especially when the following day is a Public Holiday!! Seriously though, how many will be willing to strike against safcom when they rely on it for communication? One thing for sure exists, Safaricom needs to wake up or things will work against their favour, and people are feeling betrayed by this firm! Cautiously note, the devil you know might not better than the angel you do not know, but can take you closer to your saviour! On 11/12/2009, James Wachira <jwaciira.lists@gmail.com> wrote:

I remember back in the 70's when Kenya Railways was king and people thought they could not do without it. back then, the place to work was not startup Microsoft or Apple but the conglomerate Kenya Railways, then fondly referred to as KR. Anyway, success got the best of them, services plummetted and as they say, the rest is history. No company is too big to treat it's customers badly, even giants like Microsoft know this too well and will go out of their way to please customers if when they can afford not to. Safaricom may be big now, enjoying some goodwill and some political connections but if they don't work on their attitude, it will not be long before they loose their dominance.

@Wanjiru I guess you will inform all your friends and colleagues to join in via text (thro their safcom phones) or by calling the closest ones (again via their safcom phones)... the more networky ones will be informed via email (to be downloaded anywhere anytime using safariocom broadband) .... well, no problem But now, how to end the strike....
