I remember back in the 70's when Kenya Railways was king and people thought they could not do without it. back then, the place to work was not startup Microsoft or Apple but the conglomerate Kenya Railways, then fondly referred to as KR. Anyway, success got the best of them, services plummetted and as they say, the rest is history.
No company is too big to treat it's customers badly, even giants like Microsoft know this too well and will go out of their way to please customers if when they can afford not to.
Safaricom may be big now, enjoying some goodwill and some political connections but if they don't work on their attitude, it will not be long before they loose their dominance.
