I have a ASP.Net web application with a sql server backend. I have successfully uploaded the .Net files. I have issues with taking sql server to the web hosting server. I have tried to use client network utility and since im new to sql server, I would like some input.
More information! - What version of ASP.NET - Does the host support the above? - What version of SQL Server - Does the host support the above? - Can you connect to the database remotely? - Have you been able tup upload the database data? - What error messages are you getting? Hallo, Make sure your host provider has allowed remote access so u can access using your sql management tools.Some hosts dont dot that so would be of no use trying.Some host give some weird database web configuration tools that can be tricky to use. Also make sure your accessing the correct schema something like write2ogush.your_database cause sometimes your app will refuse to work even after you upload your table and data correctly.
