Make sure your host provider has allowed remote access so u can access using your sql management tools.Some hosts dont dot that so would be of no use trying.Some host give some weird database web configuration tools that can be tricky to use.
Also make sure your accessing the correct schema something like write2ogush.your_database cause sometimes your app will refuse to work even after you upload your table and data correctly.
And there should always be some online support guys to assist you get your things in order.
