Screenshots of sms chat cannot be admissible as evidence, at least not in a court of competent jurisdiction because its impossible to prove authenticity. Your best bet is to take an exact image of the whole phone, and simulate using any emulator. The image should be in read only format. But if it's not a court, well you csn argue your way. ​I thought I should post a work around I used. I used Ritesh SMS backup on the Huawei Y210 to get the xml file of the thread I was interested in. I installed Ritesh BackUp on a phone that comes with screenshot taking functionality off the shelf. I copied xml file to the galaxy and ''restored'' the backup to become one of the sms threads in the galaxy. I now have my almost crystal clear screenshots. As for the admissibility in a court of law I can't comment. I think the intent is to show there was some communication between parties to case. Yes the phone is still intact and can be used too.
