Web-based Oracle Administration Tool
Hello, Anyone ever come across a Php Oracle Administration tool that can enable creation of oracle users, creation of roles, assigning privileges to roles and assigning roles to users? Any links to a free downloadable one that can be customized? Thanks :) Julianne.
Disclaimer: I might be wrong coz I've never tried it on the full Db Server but I think the Oracle XE Client http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/products/express-edition/downloads/index.h... can also access the full DB Server and manage users. @Kennedy @Steve It actually can. I've done it countless times. the version of the XE can be taken into consideration. I've used 10gR2 and 11gR1/R2. the 11g Version has been upgraded to included major administration functions found in entreprise and standard editions. @Julianne U can also use the Oracle APEX as a web tool for administration. Its shipped free in any post 10gR4 Version, u jst hav to enable it. ....and Its free.
