Morning guys, I need some help ASAP, where can I find the above mentioned "stuff"' locally? Or at least anywhere so long as i get some hosting today. PLEASE GIVE ME SUGGESTIONS.
You ahve two options: (1) Install mysql on a windows server and do your hosting from there (2) Install apache2 + mod_mono + mysql on a linux server and host your web app from there. @Edwin, I think its pretty easy to figure out if servers are local or not. The main driving for local hosting is speed. No matter what sort of crazy optimization you do to an app, a locally hosted app will benefit from the reduced round trip. But of course, there are many more factors which go into this.
