@Mash, I think Easus is free* if not a trial period!! I can't remember well. if it requires a serial, use this site *isohunt.com* and search for a good torrent and download it. Then download the torrent file with uTorrent. Make sure u review the torrent comments so that u dont d-load a virus. Hope it helps...one more thing, Easues doesn't retain the folder tree structure, so I dont know if u r recovering files like outlook data file or EXEs!! *TestDisk* can *run* under - DOS (either *real* or in a Windows 9x DOS-box), - Windows (NT4, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, Windows 7 (x86 & x64), - Linux, - FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, - SunOS and - MacOS X Whereas I have not run it within windows, a quick (inexpensive) fix would be to run it off a linux live cd...knoppix maybe?
