REQUEST: Internet Connectivity

Is there any engineer from Orange on this forum? I'd like to know if there a way Orange can give Internet connectivity at either of the following locations (they are almost next to each other): 1. N 00° 14.578', E 36° 49.171' 2. N 00° 14.986', E 36° 48.592' I am looking at something like 1Mbps connection to the Internet. I don’t want VSAT solution, for that is what I use currently at the location. Orange wireless phones work at that location, but the quality is not that good. Safaricom have confirmed to me that there is no way (under the sun) that they can give service at this location. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I can't hear you -- I'm using the scrambler. @Wash, if no one replies to your request, I'll take this discussion with you offlist. I cannt provide such services but would like to make some suggestions to you on some possible ways you might get it working. My info is no longer for public domains and is very propreitary, am sorry have to take it offlist. Rgds. :-)

@Aki, Thanks for that. I've also had (offlist) some very great ideas on alternative ways of getting this running. I'll still welcome your contributions. Initially. my mind was focussed on the kawaida formal ways of achieving this, but seeing as it might not work that way, I've already put my mind into high gear towards the informal ways of getting the same.. Someone from Orange did call me already, but the way I see things, depending on the cost, is that the pendulum can swing either way ... On Wed, Dec 21, 2011 at 18:05, aki <aki275@gmail.com> wrote:

@Wash, just sharing a comment here.
From now onwards, my view is similar to that of any vendor or solution provider on this list who offlists their prices or services. I don't charge for technology advice or opinions that could be helpful, however the knowledge and information passed on will be strictly given out "on a need to know basis". I'll definately be intouch with you regarding your question within the next 7 days. Hopefully what I share will be helpful to you in some way. I'm glad to have reached this decision, I'm too busy and commited to waste my precious time on building tech communities or others.
Asante. :-) On Wed, Dec 21, 2011 at 6:12 PM, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com>wrote:
