I use the one that 'unlocks your potential' and the last time I received mail was way back in January. Have sent an email and made phone calls, and so far nothing has been born. Just curious, say you are on ISP A,and you have their equipment,and you wish to switch to B, what would it cost to do so?
Anyone with experience in the gsm modems? Which would one go for? i know orange have unlimited download for 6k a month though not sure what the bandwidth is. plus would it be useful in an office setting of about 5 users? With three different ISPs or one particular ISP? If three, then you must be taking a different approach with them. What happens is that you need to sort out the Finance issues first, be clear on that then ask for transfer. You might encounter some newbies/interns in domain transfers who might give you hard time so some patience goes a long way. I was with safaricom, I redeemed my bonga points to get the modem and after 2 months the modem just died. I went to safcom care centre.....they agreed that the modem was faulty but couldn't exchange it because I didn't have the receipt. I am with A.K, I am not impressed! Its like speeds are throttled at some point! Nothing impressive here. I was with KDN, I was impressed. I dunno what it is, This was my best internet experience yet! Rare downtimes. But when they happen, you stay that way for a long time! I was with JTL! I would not recommend! I have worked for Safaricom. They are the average. But the techies? SMH! In conclusion, You want good experience, Go KDN. But pray everyday you do not go down. I think they have a good Network infrastructure. You want average everything, Safaricom might be worth your while.
