[Business Daily] Red Hat story

That article seems to have been either poorly researched or deliberately disingenuous. RedHat's does not give away its products for free as a token look at their site can confirm - https://www.redhat.com/apps/store/server/ - https://www.redhat.com/apps/store/desktop/ - https://www.redhat.com/apps/store/systems/ - https://www.redhat.com/apps/store/enterprise/ - https://www.redhat.com/apps/store/training/ On Thu, Aug 6, 2009 at 10:25 AM, Gakuru Alex <alexgakuru.lists@gmail.com>wrote:

i think it was a case of cut, paste and uniformed editing. i saw the article somewhere some days ago better customer satisfaction and sales

BDA are not fully to blame I think, because the story was republished from http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8178929.stm and I would think the norms of republishing do not allow for editing. Pure copy and paste, except the photo of Matthew Szulik, which was stretched. On Thu, Aug 6, 2009 at 11:03 AM, James Mutuku <listmutuku@gmail.com> wrote:

Well, that what Red Hat Chairman Matthew Szulik said on 30-min podcast recent Peter Day interview <http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio/worldbiz/worldbiz_20090728-0106c.mp3> It appears that, as usual, BBC have removed the file after a few days - their policy... I downloaded but have not read about their copyright policy.
