SMS your ID number and Safaricom voice line separated by * to 450 to register* *Time: 05/08/2009 17:01:04* * * Safaricom has a problem with the system and it took 3 hours to update my loading of 1,000. I was angry first when it took 1,000 and refused to send me my 300mb. I called CC and they said I loaded nothing. I decided to wait till the next day but I was lucky the reply came after 3 hours System showing 1970 instead of 2009 as expiry date and also wrong year. Well, With me - yesterday the 3G card kept disconnected after about 20-30 seconds - i had to keep reconnecting to keep the pages active. Is there some kind maintenance going on ? I understand that they are currently maintain the western region [eldoret, nakuru, kisumu etc ] - the voice calls ? Not so good.

Loaded 1,000 jana tried to convert to 300MB by sending "activate" to 446 but I only got the msg, "you have insufficient funds". Then tried checking my balance of airtime through 144 and got zero balance. Checked balance of my bundle through 450 and got "this service is not availeable".
