Samsung Targeting A More Local Approach to the Region

Wasup guys, Check out this article on the Business Daily<http://www.businessdailyafrica.com/Samsung+targets+rural+folks+with+solar+charged+laptop++/-/539552/1227422/-/q64uj3/-/index.html> ; Samsung targets rural folks with solar charged laptop<http://www.businessdailyafrica.com/Samsung+targets+rural+folks+with+solar+charged+laptop++/-/539552/1227422/-/q64uj3/-/index.html> I didn't even know that Samsung was here locally! Seems like Kenya, thanks to Ushahidi & iHub is quickly becoming the destination of choice for all these tech firms ... they've got a local Facebook ( http://www.facebook.com/samsungmobilekenya) and Twitter ( https://twitter.com/#!/SamsungMobileKE) accounts to engage their audience. What do you guys think about this move?

Hi, With all due respect but targetting the rural folk with a laptop priced ad 35,000 shs is way of. However it is a brilliant strategy if they work with government for the regional county offices. You will be surprised, how many rural folk can easily afford a 35000 laptop after selling their wheat or maize bumper harvest. Unfortunately some might be deciding btw marrying a second (or third) wife and getting the laptop. Samsung should do some catchy ads to that effect On Thu, Sep 15, 2011 at 9:59 AM, Kevin Omondi <kevin.ouma@gmail.com> wrote:

-- Sent from my Voice Recognition Watch© -------------------------------------------------------------------- Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.As we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
