Seeking Hardware/Software Performance interested skunks

Are there skunks on this list who are actively interested in performance of the technology for which their stuff runs on? By performance I mean people interested in such topics as:- - Faster hardware; SSD drives, faster network interfaces; faster RAM... - Faster servers; making linux run faster, faster TCP/IP stacks - Faster applications; MySQL/MSSQL/[yours here], Apache/IIS/[yours here], PHP/[yours here]. - Faster front ends e.g. faster websites I find myself constantly seeking to make the tech I work with faster, often times breaking things, It would be good if there were like minded skunks here with whom to share mistakes

I can simply say one thing: Borrow from Cisco's network Lifecycle Services Framework. Prepare -> Plan -> Design -> Implement -> Operate -> Optimize. Scalability is what you are looking for. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Damn!!
