My rule is simple, if the price is too low compared to what other shops are offering, there is a catch. Judging by the number of laptops being stolen from people, I'm sure there is a thriving market for them where they are labelled 'Ex-Uk'. I would rather buy a lower specced, new machine from a trusted shop than a high specced one from a questionable shop. This rule applies to all devices by the way. Your call. :)

I was shopping for a laptop to gift someone who's just joining campus, and came across a shop in accra road selling some cheap laptops whose specs are quite good. I was suspicious of the prices but those guys claim that these are Ex-UK machines hence the price. How legit are these laptops?
