My rule is simple, if the price is too low compared to what other shops are
offering, there is a catch. Judging by the number of laptops being stolen
from people, I'm sure there is a thriving market for them where they are
labelled 'Ex-Uk'. I would rather buy a lower specced, new machine from a
trusted shop than a high specced one from a questionable shop. This rule
applies to all devices by the way. Your call. :)

I suspect most of these are code injection, like file inclusion. I think
some basics like file/directory write permissions checks would go a long
way.
