Isn't jamming a signal technically the same as hacking? Where hacking here is defined act activity by unauthorized user to disrupt authorized users from accessing a certain resource. If a DDoS attack is illegal, then jamming is also illegal. What if someone jammed the Police radio network, how illegal would that be? And because of watching too much 24, I need to ask this; does the GSU unit guarding the president use a special comm channel like the secret service does? @Peter, where did you see the REcce? They are the most inconspicuous of all the president's men. They pocket phones(aka radio or walkie-talkies). They use those, and can vary the channels to private frequencies (ones that other known channel users cannot access) And the GSU does not guard the president, they do fixed sites such as state houses and lodges (hence G company designation).
