Isn't jamming a signal technically the same as hacking? Where hacking here is defined act activity by unauthorized user to disrupt authorized users from accessing a certain resource.

If a DDoS attack is illegal, then jamming is also illegal. What if someone jammed the Police radio network, how illegal would that be?

And because of watching too much 24, I need to ask this; does the GSU unit guarding the president use a special comm channel like the secret service does? Whenever I see those guys (the Recce squad?), I don't see white earpieces sticking out of their ears.
