Earlier tonight, when viewing a high definition myspace.com video, i realised it was buffering extremely fast... and looking at the speeds i was getting, they were off this world.. an average of 1.7Mbps all through. Possibilities: - myspace.com is hosted locally - very few subs on safcon - but at 9pm, am sure we were many.. - they have given video priority.. - they were testing the seacom fiber Unfortunately, couldnt do ping / tracert / other tests at that time, and now am back to super slow speeds... Is this the start of the sub-marine era for us? If this is a sign of things to come .. bring it on!
