Earlier tonight, when viewing a high definition <a href="http://myspace.com">myspace.com</a> video, i realised it was buffering extremely fast... and looking at the speeds i was getting, they were off this world.. an average of 1.7Mbps all through.<br>
<br>Possibilities:<br>- <a href="http://myspace.com">myspace.com</a> is hosted locally<br>- very few subs on safcon - but at 9pm, am sure we were many..<br>- they have given video priority..<br>- they were testing the seacom fiber  <br>
<br>Unfortunately, couldnt do ping / tracert / other tests at that time, and now am back to super slow speeds...<br><br>Is this the start of the sub-marine era for us? If this is a sign of things to come .. bring it on!<br>
