It happened to me too and a couple of my users. This is how I went around it: * * *These are the steps to follow , I had the same proble but this has worked.*
1. Click *Start*, type *run* and press *Enter*. (On Windows XP: Click *Start* and then *Run*.)
2. Type the following and click *OK*.
%appdata%\skype
3. Locate and delete the file *shared.xml*.
Thanks Jac, that worked fine for me. I'm finally back up! (The sceptic in me renamed the shared.xml file rather than delete it) For a moment I was convinced that M$ had indeed integrated their generic crash library into Skype [?][?]
