@ Eric, I did exactly that sometimes ago. Actually, I went to KRA and they told me to send and email to controlroom@kra.go.ke, (yet I was there and they could have done it as I waited). It's about two months and no response as yet. I got my company's PIN manually( before they introduced the ITMS) so I only needed the tax obligation to be included in the existing PIN. @ Solomon VAT certificates are being phased out. Your online PIN certificate contains all the tax obligations that relate to you. Therefore if your registering as a new taxpayer using the online system you should select the VAT obligation, however if you are an existing taxpayer your obligations will appear automatically. If you notice that the tax obligation is not appearing on the certificate, contact the nearest KRA office or send an email to * controlroom@kra.go.ke* with your PIN, REGISTERED NAME and a small mesaage requesting for the obligation to be added to your certificate.
