The web as harmful to programming? Please expound further coz that is a very interesting observation Aki. And i think the coalition between web and desktop may already have happened, in the name of Adobe Air <http://www.adobe.com/products/air/comparison/>. However, like Rad! said, the desktop ain't dying anytime soon.
