Dennis let's start by saying you are not the average user. Having said that, the average user will, upon accessing free WiFi or some expensive data install tens of unnecessary apps that also include games. They don't have all those smartphone optimization skills you have so mostly everything passes. They want anything and everything, they want to be able to play Asphalt 8 and Candy Crush, they want to multitask and since they have a smartphone why should they feel pressurized to close apps to favour experience on others when they are not using like ten apps open. They want to experience the freedom that Android gives, so yes, they want that bigger specs sheet, even for the feel that they have all that processing power. Care to explain why you will need that Subaru that does 220 kph speeds and picks in ten seconds to 100kph on Nairobi roads? Yes, thought so too. What do people use RAM for? I have 1GB of RAM and it feels adequate, plus wasn't Android redesigned to require less RAM?
