Hi, As techies we spend many hours a day glued to our seats working at our various devices. And if you multiply your daily sitting time by the possible number of years in your career, it is a long long time spent sitting. Needless to say, this sedentary lifestyle is bad for a techie's health and doctors everywhere are telling desk workers to adopt a more active lifestyle to prevent the development of a whole bunch of diseases. For how long do you sit at one stretch? Is all the sitting taking a toll on your body? Does company management encourage you to stay fit? What do you do to keep active during working hours? Thoughts?
