Sounds accurate. I don't think Airtel and Orange realise that the only hope they have of getting business from hardcore safaricom users lies in having a richer data offering. Voice is a done deal. Data is where the game is at now. On Thu, Jul 7, 2011 at 10:32 AM, Philip Musyoki <pmusyoki@gmail.com> wrote:
I think may be it is because Safaricom does not have a fiber network of their own, so they have nothing to do down. They lease most of the capacity from Jamii Telcom, and some from KDN. So I guess the effect felt when KDN is down could be because many ISPs and Telcos lease capacity from them. _______________________________________________ Skunkworks mailing list Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------ Skunkworks Rules http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=94 ------------ Other services @ http://my.co.ke
