I do not think so as the internet is not governed by any state ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet#Governance). I would look at it as hosting a website. Different websites have different content... For instance, in order to blog or start a news website, you do not need to be registered at the GPO like kina Nation are, neither do you need any license from any local government authority to start an e-business; likewise, I do not see why the government would need to give you the green-light to launch your own internet radio station. I stand to be corrected though... Me. 2009/10/21 Chris W. <dabnix@gmail.com>
Hello everyone,
To those that are familiar with Kenya's legislation,
What would I need to abide to in case I was to start an internet based Radio or TV station? For instance do I require some license from CCK or any other body? Are there international laws that govern this sector?
Kindly inform me if you have ever been involved on such or have knowledge of the rounds involved.
Thanks,
Chris_w. dabnix@gmail.com
