i got the data much earlier than that. just before the election, some random people had been hired as casual workers to copy the voter apps to mem cards which were to be distributed to polling staff... several people i know were part of that crew, and used their own laptops to copy the data. if they were concerned about leaks, they'd have used a more secure 'copy mechanism'
