@AKi Boss -- is there another Africa that I don't know about? -How many corrupt & brutal military leaders have we had in Africa? Mobutu? Kabila? Gadaffi? Idi Amin? Mugabe? There's nothing to celebrate. We have produced leaders just as atrocious as Saddam On Thu, Aug 5, 2010 at 2:11 PM, aki <aki275@googlemail.com> wrote:

Hi,
Not sure if anyone has seen a 4 part series called 'House of Saddam' depicting the rise and fall of Saddam Hussein to his very final lows as he faces the hangman's noose.
Now I watching this last night as the referendum results were trickling in and I could not help to think of former President Daniel Moi. There was so much similarities, from his brutal regime, his sons, to his 'fall', the only part missing was the final justice part.
Saddam's story is more about chemical warfare use against the kurds and his own population. In the Middle East they believe in military leaders, civilians cannot do. Fortunately within Africa, there have been no such crazy president's no matter how corrupt the regimes. Many former President's across the globe have commited things, including mass genocide. You need to research more. :-)
