Hi Saich, Had kind of similar problem with my pidgin. Seems like whenever I have my GTalk account configured pidgin wont start. Try and disable this account if you have it configured and see if it helps. Also try update your pidgin version to something like 2.5.8, I think that's the latest. Hope this helps some.
