Equity bank now have agents all over who operate like Mpesa agents and have now sort of abandoned the Mkesho initiative since the their agencies and Mpesa (Mkesho) are competing each other. So they are doing whatany other business would do kill whats not your own for your own to grow. This is a strategy they are using to divert their customers to eassy 247 and the technical hitch is just a red herring. I am still surprised that they are yet to sort that out.
