Guys I have received threats from Zain and Safaricom. First Safaricom I went to Kisumu with my new Modem and Laptop and lost my modem in the hotel. I locked the Laptop to the Metal Table and so it couldn't move from the table but lost the Modem. It was postpaid with Safaricom and I think I was just on the 3rd month of using it. I called Safaricom to stop the line since I have lost it and I will activate it after buying new modem. They told me that tehy dont do such a thing and I have to pay for the full use every month until the next year is over. I went to Moi Avenue and demanded to speak to the manager. She couldn't listen to me and was very rude. I resorted to facebook and social media and told Safaricom that they cannot front an argument that I loose my car through carjacking then I have to pay for full tank petrol which I am not using. Thats robbery and they should be ready to start recovering the money. A guy called Abraham called me in a record two hours and told me that teh line had been terminated. I have not gone back to claim the line and wont ever go to claim it because that was robbery May and June I was out of Kenya and so was not using my Zain and they were sending lots of threats and SMSes including the head of Data called Eric Natembea calling and issuing threats. I did sign the contract after reading the T & C.
Never have I received a threat even when I go to the CC or send an
bursting with anger. Actually, the CC do call me back when I address an issue which is against the T&C I signed or even when experiencing some technical hitches!
