Over the last 3 days I've transacted 13+GB on the Safaricom's UnlimitedWeekly bundle, even with bandwidth throttling in place. I suspect Orange's bundle is a Fair Usage policy capped at 500MB and not unlimited. All Safaricom's unlimited bundles: UNLIMITEDDAILY, UNLIMITEDWEEKLY and UNLIMITEDMONTHLY are not volume capped, but are bandwidth capped. ./bernard On Fri, Jan 13, 2012 at 9:47 AM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:
I confirmed that the "unlimited" "7 day" bundle I bought last Friday hit the 500 MB limit on Wednesday evening, and I was promptly disconnected.
So , yes, the "unlimited" bundle on phone is limited to 500 Mb, and here we thought Safaricom was been cheeky with unlimited
