
Thanks peter for the comparison. makes me wonder why the brutally short battery life for the x500? macbooks always seem to last longer on a single charge than any other laptops ave seen. does windows run too many unnecessary processes or is the battery hardware lower quality? even the regular macbook boasts a ten hour charge even when constantly connected to wifi. Obviously, the X500 has more brute power, but IMHO, it would come last last on my wish list.

With 2X640GB drives, I can already see it being used with Adobe CS3 on 64bit and also a partition to suit the scratch disks.
