I have email services hosted by safaricom and I want to use safaricom as a smart relay. I was getting this error *status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: host mx2.safaricombusiness.co.ke[41.203.208.120] refused to talk to me: 554-smtp02.safaricombusiness.co.ke 554 Your access to this mail system has been rejected due to the sending MTA's poor reputation and/or suspected spamming. If you believe that this failure is in error, please contact the intended recipient via alternate means)* I think the IP am sending from is blacklisted but setting up an email client and accessing the same smtp server works fine from the same IP postfix is sending from. You are not quite clear on what you need to achieve. Are you trying to use Safaricom as smart relay (in which case maina's answer is what you need) or trying to send to an email address hosted by Safaricom and not getting delivered? Can you deliver to other domains like gmail?

If that is the case then you just need below in your main.cf file. relayhost = blablah.com
Mind you, the relay host has to be configured to accept your server requests,,else all mails will bounce back.
