
Been using it for a while now in Westlands and Kileleshwa. When it works the speeds are great. Though I must say some days seems the service just slows down for no apparent reason. OK, testing this morning in another area within the Hurlingham area and Orange 3g ( not evdo ) is clocking a steady *540KB/sec download speeds*to the UK ubuntu test download mirror site using the Orange flybox. That 540KB/sec = very close to 7Mbps!!!. I've also tested to a number of other download sites and the results match very closely.
*Is this the dawn of a new era in the 3g data delivery? If so, Orange have just broken the speed barriers that we have been so limited to. ( 40-160KBps ).*
