Been using it for a while now in Westlands and Kileleshwa. When it works the speeds are great. Though I must say some days seems the service just slows down for no apparent reason. But the speeds are great.

OK, testing this morning in another area  within the Hurlingham area and Orange 3g ( not evdo ) is clocking a steady 540KB/sec download speeds to the UK ubuntu test download mirror site using the Orange flybox. That 540KB/sec = very close to 7Mbps!!!. I've also tested to a number of other download sites and the results match very closely.

Is this the dawn of a new era in the 3g data delivery? If so, Orange have just broken the speed barriers that we have been so limited to. ( 40-160KBps ).
