
That's ignorance by the writer. The guardian uses Joomla, Mashable is Wordpress, Techweez too. Heck, even the PM's site is Joomla. Safaricom store is Joomla. Them being open source does not make them vulnerable. Updates and site security does. Here's where I place a disclaimer: I have not read the article, am responding to this entry as-is.
