Let me laugh. I applied for my passport using the e-citizen platform and it took me about 3 weeks to have it out - remember the DIS Service Charter states that it would take a maximum of 10 days. When I picked my passport, the e-citizen portal still shows the application is still being processed!!!! Then I applied for a visa to Canada and made a follow-up via the Canadian Visa Portal and they indicated that my visa had already been issued. This is where you find people sleeping on their jobs while others are working!!!! The e-citizen portal needs proactive guys. After no responses to phone calls or emails, I used the message function ( tab on right of of the ecitizen screen page ) as a last resort. Got sorted in 10 minutes (shock!)
