Hold those horses! In theory: So one can give an ISP kitu kikubwa and they can spy for a company info from a competing company? So one *can* track alot of communication in/out of a company/individual. This is disturbing. I wonder how much confidential email is encrypted before sending. E-Spying? - Scanning E-Content.

People have been talking about their e-mails not being delivered because the provider has blocked particular ports (among other net connection issues, especially to some websites). Out of pure curiosity, could some providers be scanning content passing through their networks? How would a provider go about scanning content? I think it will be an interesting discussion to know how this can be archieved, even though it might not be currently happening. o_O?

May look stupid but I would still keep a list of IP addresses for the sites I want to visit. With the list and the web servers on I would still access the internet without DNS although most of the services that are fully dependent on DNS would not work / run. Guys, I think the issue is not knowing the actual location of the device but being able to verify that the device is actually installed on your car. This may be done by activating the Internet tracking option for at least a week or a few days after the device is installed and allow the new subscriber to just monitor his car and confirm that it has the device after when the internet option would be disabled (this can even be provided at a fee).
