If Orange TKL partner with Intel Wimax/4G, they will create the true next generation of 4G devices and networks. TKL/Orange could also have global roaming wimax/4G internet deal. We could finally see a true convergence of broandband laptops, netwbooks and hanndheld devices roaming seamlessly everwhere. The convergence technology is here, will local telcos take the initiative? I read that intel is moving out of the whole wimax shebang. All indications are pointing to WCDMA/LTE as the next big thing. The convergence is happenning real soon and if Safcom and Telkom Orange keep it as real as they seem intent on doing. Then Kenya will be right among the pioneers of an interesting new world.
