Hi guys, I have heard of 'story games' which are games in which a story is told by the participants. Basically, one person begins the story, eg, 'I was walking down Migingo when last week...' then the next in line tops up the story, and so forth. Now, I was wondering, could we have a software story as well? The first thread gives the initial code and successive threads build onto it. Any lang - php, asp.net, java, etc. You never know what can be built out of it! The difference between this and a collabo project is that this has no defined end product. Any one interested? -- Sent from my mobile device

Looks interesting. You could start us off... Though judging by the response (or lack of it) things dont look good. On 5/23/09, Tech List Kenya <techlistkenya@gmail.com> wrote:

I guess you are describing something close to CVS which is widely used on Open Source Application development - where control, regulation, harmony and standard is be maintained. This can not be the case if anyone was allowed develop their own line simply because stuff like bugs identified by one person for instance can never be appropriated for to every partipant if projects were handled separately.CVS does well to correct such issues. The best way forward is to setup a CVS Server where guyz initiate and support projects through CVS Clients.CVS projects thereafter graduate in uniform to beta and finally stable Versions. I stand to be corrected. If I got it right, it has already begun: Peter said, "controlroom@kra.go.ke? Interesting. A room in the 13th floor of Times Towers. The windows are tinted. Its rather cold coz of the 4 or 5 LG ACs. There is a low hum of the about 10 or so PCs hidden under the long, wide semi-circle desk. 10 or so 19" monitors are evenly spaced out on that desk. Small green and orange lights can be clearly seen on the corner, the 5 server cabinet dulling the hum of the HP blade servers. The control room. Accessible only using a special elevator on the 3rd floor, Banking wing. With its own separate power grid, power backup generator, CCTV security system... Nick, the lead technician on duty is staring at one of the monitors, seemingly lost in thought..." Then Nick said, "No that is not the place, you were at a different place " On Mon, May 25, 2009 at 12:23 PM, Chris W. <dabnix@gmail.com> wrote:
