Ok3tch Truth stands out more is those were allegations. And I wonder has anyone raised valid questions worth engaging? Most of the sentiments shared were wrong and to some point racist. Why subscribe to such? Then a lot of misinformation which will mislead the public into believing false stuff. Lets always have our facts before we hurl insults and mislead people. While at it read this - http://bit.ly/k3b8B8 Regards, On 10 June 2011 08:18, Okechukwu <okechukwu@gmail.com> wrote:

The man who publishes that blog has a lot of credibility issues and I think he is not to be taken seriously. Were it anyone else, I would have thought twice about his allegations. Maybe I am just biased. And not to mention his name calling and his racism.

@Philip - You know him, how about those who read the article and don't know him. My point is, it pays for you to set the record straight if you are accused even if the person accusing you has credibility issues. ./Ok3ch On Fri, Jun 10, 2011 at 9:06 AM, Philip Musyoki <pmusyoki@gmail.com> wrote:

As a kid i believed everything i read in the newspaper or on TV. Everyone did, we were kids. It was this big magical authoritative source of information that i believed. Now that i am an adult i can filter the info. I know what is politically motivated, i know what is commentary and i know what is fact. I disagree that bloggers are not journalists. Bloggers are journalists. However any good journalist will tell you that bloggers are categorized under "commentary or editorial". It is one man's opinion and everyone has a right to their opinion. And a newspaper will label that page commentaries because it is just that. COMMENTARIES "one viewpoint among many". For example in theology there are a lot of writers who have written "commentaries" or study guides on different books in the Bible. These are meant to guide the reader through the original text. However they are never above the Bible. The authority on the information is the original source. For example if you are reading John MacArthur s commentary on the New Testament and you disagree with a particular point. You go to the original text to verify #Bible. In summary what i am saying is that a blog lends credence to itself by the veracity of its information and the veracity of the writer. You can only verify the data by talking the source. @King'ori you cannot say you should never respond to such blogs, yet what you have done here is responding to it, which to me is perfectly good since there are people who have just read about the other side. I am not in any way advocating for the blogger, but insist that it is better to respond (not necessarily in his forum, but like now in our own forum) for people to understand and judge, if you don't they will judge without your view. ./Ok3ch On Fri, Jun 10, 2011 at 10:48 AM, King'ori Gitahi <kingorigitahi@ovi.com> wrote:

The information on the blog is incorrect, though as many have pointed out, the point about the ticket charges is substantial. Pivot 25 though should have put more effort in interacting with bloggers, shutting them out is a bad idea

Dennis, You are also incorrect on the bloggers section. There are a number of bloggers who will attend the event and will keep you looped. Regards, On 10 June 2011 11:02, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:

The writer of the blog gives the perception that he tried to come in as a blogger and was locked out, that's where I was basing my opinion on. So also that is incorrect.
