Now that should get Mobile Telcos really worried, but as it says, business should be in data and other VAS, not voice. I don't think Nokia/Microsoft has a unified strategy on the emerging markets. I can't even download the Bing application for Android in Kenya. No localization in this part of the world as evidenced by the pains Windows phone users have had to go to access MPesa in the SIM Toolkit. This new Android excursion will fail too. The phones will be bought but the added bloatware of Nokia services will not help matters since they are not necessarily superior to their competitors. They shine in Cameras and that's about it.
