Well, from research, I have found SEVERAL places in Europe willing to pay about 200 to 300 pounds per hour and others 25000 to 35000 pounds per year to Magento developers, I am talking about British Pounds here. These are my personal experiences, mostly coz i am a kurutu in it. 1. Installing it on localhost is like a toothache, apparently, its URL needs to have at least one 'dot', so you cant use something like http://localhost/. The solution to this is to change httpd.conf and your hosts file so that something like http://www.localhost.com/ or http://localhost.com/ still refer to your localhost. This can be a pain! 2.
