Thanks Washington. I would like to urge Skunkers to read the draft Kenya ICT policy 2016 because it's contents affects the whole industry. Often times we complain about government, regulators, business, etc. It's now time the digital natives have their voice heard at the national level. The current ICT policy was published in 2006, that is 10 years ago. This draft policy is bold, with sections on IoT, big data, OTTs, Net neutrality ..... the old guards drafting the policy have done a good job, they nearly included Blockchains and Cryptocurrencies in the document. But just nearly. The old guard will not get it if we don't tell them. Remember the guy behind Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin was born in 1994. Having a structured dialogue will help us get more out of the process. Here are the main sections of the document. If we get volunteers to lead discussions on each topic, we will produce the best citizen participation document south of the Sahara, north of the Limpopo. 5. ICT INFRASTRUCTURE AND ACCESS 6.
